Overview

Beauty & Youth is known for greyscale palettes and an emphasis on texture, an approach it has also brought to its New Balance projects. The ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 Beauty & Youth follows that line, putting subtle surface detail ahead of bold graphics and carrying no Beauty & Youth branding on the shoe itself.

Woven mesh patterns change across the midfoot panel, toebox and tongue, giving a patchwork effect. Metallic silver synthetic overlays, in matte and shimmer finishes, cover the mudguard, eyelets and heel, while the Tiger Stripes are two-tone white and grey. A white leather tongue overlay, two-tone white and black laces and a patterned sockliner lead into a two-tone midsole with GEL cushioning and a grey, black and white outsole.
